Removal--Continued
4. Remove self--locking nut (8), three lockwashers (9) and two ground wires (10 and 11) from terminal E of generator
(7). Discard lockwasher and self--locking nut.
5. Remove self--locking nut (12), flat washer (13) and wire (14) from terminal D of generator (7). Discard self--locking
nut.
6. Remove self--locking nut (15), flat washer (16) and wire (17) from terminal A of generator (7). Discard self--locking
nut.
7. Remove self--locking nut (18), flat washer (19) and wires (20 and 21) from terminal B of generator (7). Discard
self--locking nut.

WARNING
To avoid personnel injury or death, use extreme caution
and observe safety precautions when working under-
neath the APU.
CAUTION
To avoid APU damage a suitable holding device is neces-
sary to ensure APU weight does not rest on either gener-
ator or hydraulic pump. APU must be raised high enough
to permit access to underside.
Generator weighs approximately 94 lbs (43 kg). To pre-
vent damage to shaft and seals, generator must be sup-
ported at all times when performing the following proce-
dures.
