TRANSDUCER CALIBRATION -- CONTINUED
0692 00
Depressurization--Continued
WARNING
Hydraulic system pressure is rated 4450 psi. Do not
torque hydraulic fittings or perform removal procedures
when hydraulic system is pressurized. Discharging sys-
tem pressure before performing any maintenance proce-
dures will avoid injury to personnel.
Eye protection will be worn when performing mainte-
nance procedures on all hydraulic components to avoid
injury to personnel.
NOTE
To ensure proper calibration the hydraulic system must
be completely depressurized. Perform step 2 to alleviate
residual hydraulic pressure in pressure locked hydraulic lines
prior to calibrating transducers in the following table.
Place rags under hydraulic connections to catch any hy-
draulic fluid that spills during maintenance. Dispose of
fluid soaked rags in accordance with standard operating
procedure.
1. Activate hydraulic controls several times with engine and auxiliary power unit OFF to relieve system pressure in
hydraulic system.
2. Before calibrating any transducer in the following table relieve residual hydraulic pressure for corresponding trans-
ducers by removing wiring harness connected to transducer then loosening transducer to allow pressure to es-
cape. Tighten transducer and reconnect wiring harness.
