LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS-Continued.(1)Remove six bolts (14) and six lockwashers (15) from transmission drain plate (16) and remove transmissionplate and gasket (17).(2)Remove drain plug (18) and drain transmission oil.(3)Clean drain plug (18) with dry-cleaning solvent (Appx. D, item 16). Install drain plug after transmission isfully drained.(4)Install new gasket (17), drain plate (16), six new lockwashers (15), and six bolts (14).NOTEIf transmission is to be flushed, notify unit maintenance.F-12
