EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS FOR TOOL ID LIST. SECTION II
a. COLUMN 1, ITEM NUMBER
This number is assigned to the entry in the listing and is referenced in the initial setup of procedures to identify
the tool.
b. COLUMN 2, ITEM NAME
This lists the name and the dimensions of each item.
c. COLUMN 3, NATIONAL STOCK NUMBER [NSN]
This indicates the NSN assigned to the tool; use it to request or requisition the tool.
d. COLUMN 4, PART NUMBER
This indicates the manufacturer’s part number.
e. COLUMN 5, REFERENCE
This references the supply catalog or Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) that provides a description of
the tool.
