replacing the generator/starter, or its brushes, the
brushes should be sanded according to procedures in
d.1 below.

Disassembly.

General. Refer to paragraph 2-15 for
removal and installation instructions. Refer to TM 9-
2815-221-34&P for repair of the diesel engine assembly
and to TM 9-2350-256-20 for components not
covered in this manual. Figure 4-3 with legend identifies
the components of the APU and provides an index to the
step-by-step removal (fig 4-5) of each part during
disassembly. Figure 4-4 provides a schematic guide to
the connection of the wiring harnesses, the high air
temperature switch lead and the ground leads.
