Remove locking pins (11) and clevis pins (12) from clevis (13) of tow bar (7).CAUTIONWhen attempting to tow Abrams combat tank, always connect tow bar to smaller of two holesin tank’s upper lifting eyes on front of vehicle.Make sure clevis markings “TOWBAR” are facing upward with arrow pointing towards towbar when securing clevis to tow lugs of disabled vehicle or upper lifting eyes on front ofAbrams FOV. Failure to comply will result in equipment damage.3.
