Install clutch bearing shield (9) and annu- lar ball bearing into mechanical clutch housing (10), using clutch bearing replacer a n d p r e s s . Install retaining ring (11). A n i m p r o p e r l y i n s t a l l e d p l a i n e n c a s ed seal will leak during operation. L i g h t l y l u b r i c a t e m e c h a n i c a l c l u t c h h o u s i ng seal cavity with grease. Install new plain encased seal (12), using oil seal inserter. Ensure lip of seal is toward inside of h o u s i n g . Install retaining plate (13) and secure with s i x m a c h i n e s c r e w s ( 1 4 ) . S t a k e e a ch m a c h i n e s c r e w i n p l a c e . Pack annular ball bearing (15) and annular b a l l b e a r i n g ( 1 6 ) w i t h g r e a s e . P l a ce splined end of bottom part of magnetic clutch (17) down and install annular ball b e a r i n g ( 1 6 ) u s i n g b e a r i n g r e p l a c e r a nd p r e s s. Turn bottom part of magnetic clutch (17) o v e r a n d i n s t a l l s l e e v e s p a c e r ( 1 8 ) . P a c k s p a c e b e t w e e n s l e e v e s p a c e r ( 1 8 ) , a n n u- lar ball bearing (16), and bottom part of m a g n e t i c c l u t c h ( 1 7 ) w i t h g r e a s e .
