Install fan drive body hub (23) into m e c h a n i c a l c l u t c h h o u s i n g ( 1 0 ) . E n s u re lip of seal is worked up and over edge of m a g n e t i c c l u t c h a n d p o i n t s i n w a r d e v e n ly a r o u n d c l u t c h. Apply a coat of sealing compound or s i l i c o n e a d h e s i v e s e a l a n t t o m a t i ng surfaces of mechanical clutch housing (3) a n d m e c h a n i c a l c l u t c h h o u s i n g ( 1 0 ) . Install mechanical clutch housing (10) on mechanical clutch housing (3) by aligning guide pin on magnetic clutch with hole in m e c h a n i c a l c l u t c h h o u s i n g ( 1 0 ) . S e c u re w i t h t e n h e x a g o n h e a d c a p s c r e w s ( 2 4) and new Iockwire (25) (item 34, appx B). S e c u r e r e c e p t a c l e c o n n e c t o r ( 2 0 ) w i t h f o ur s o c k e t h e a d c a p s c r e w s ( 2 6 ) a n d n ew Iockwire (27) (item 32, appx B). Install two 5.0-psi (34.5-kPa) pressure relief grease fittings. Pack two new plain e n c a s e d s e a l s w i t h g r e a s e . R e f e r t o M I L- G - 1 0 9 2 4 . R e m o v e t w o p r e s s u r e r e l i ef grease fittings and install two pipe plugs ( 2 8 ), Install lubricant fitting (29). . 2 - 1 08
