Refer to illustration below forequipment location.NOTESix people are needed to connect tow bar.(2)Towingprecautions.The following precautions should be followed to ensure safety to personnel andequipment:(a)Vehicle engines should be turned off and brakes applied while tow cables are being connected ordisconnected.(b)Main guns on towed vehicles must be pointed away from M88A1 to prevent impact in case ofcollision.2-120
