Remove exhaust gate (9) from exhaust cover by removing screw (18), lockwasher (19), and washer (20).

Remove clamp (21) and shim (22) at elbow (23).
7.
Remove two nuts (24), eight flat washers (25), four springs (26), two studs (27), two nuts (28), two lockwashers (29), two
screws (30), two straps (31), and APU muffler (32).
8.
Remove five screws (33), five lockwashers (34), two screws (35), two lockwashers (36), two screws (37), and two lock-
washers (38).
WARNING
Keep clear of equipment when equipment is being raised or lowered. Equipment may fall causing severe
injury or death to personnel.
9.
Open APU access door (39) and remove APU access cover (40) using lifting device.
