TM 9-2350-256-20APPENDIX FTORQUE LIMITSAPPENDIX OVERVIEWThis appendix provides general torque limits for screws used on the M88A1 Recovery Vehicle. Special torque limits areindicated in the maintenance procedures for applicable components. The general torque limits given in this appendixshall be used when specific torque limits are not indicated in the maintenance procedure. These general torque limitscannot be applied to screws that retain rubber components. The rubber components will be damaged before the correcttorque limit is reached. If a special torque limit is not given in the maintenance instructions, tighten the screw or nut untilit touches metal, then tighten it 1 more turn. This appendix contains the following paragraphs:Para.Task PageF-1Torque Limits ...........................................................................................................................
