Do not smoke or use open flame when working on fuel system: explosion may occur, causing severe
injury or death.
a. REMOVAL
1
Remove oil level gage rod (1).

Remove right front upper cover (2) and strap (3) by
removing 12 screws (4).
3 Remove oil level indicator tube cap assembly (5)
from right front upper cover (2) by removing two
screws (6) and two lockwashers (7). Remove
gasket (8) and two preformed packings (9) from oil
level indicator tube cap assembly.
