Install eight new brushes (4) in eight new
c o m p r e s s i o n s p r i n g s ( 5 ).
Install eight brushes (4) and eight com-
pression springs (5) in inner contact set
holder (6) with brush wire passing through
hole in bottom of inner contact set holder.
Press eight brushes (4) up and down in
h o l e s t o e n s u r e f r e e m o v e m e n t .
Pull slack out of eight brush wires without
c o m p r e s s i n g a n y o f t h e e i g h t c o m p r e s s i o n
s p r i n g s ( 5 ).
Solder eight brush wires to inner contact
set holder (6) per TB SIG-222.
C l i p o f f e x c e s s w i r e . E n s u r e s o l d e r a nd
wire do not rise above groove in inner
contact set holder (6).
