Disassembly
1.
Remove clip (18) by removing two screws (19) and two lockwashers (20).
2.
Remove seal (21), seven electrical contacts (22), electrical insert (23), bushing (24), and lead assembly (25) from base (26).
3.
Remove rod (27) from bushing (24).
4.
Disassemble lead assembly (see WP 0255 00 thru 0264 00, as appropriate).
Assembly
1.
Assemble lead assembly (see WP 0255 00 thru 0264 00, as appropriate).
2.
Install rod (27) to bushing (24).
3.
Install lead assembly (25), bushing (24), electrical insert (23), seven electrical contacts (22), and seal (21) to base (26).
4.
Install clip (18) using two lockwashers (20) and two screws (19).
Installation
1.
Install headlight base assembly (14) and gasket (15) using three lockwashers (17) and three screws (16).
2.
Install headlight assembly (13) by tightening adjustment nut (12).
3.
Connect connectors (2 through 7) to headlight and dimmer switch wiring harness (11).
4.
Install ground lead (1) to hull (8) using two lockwashers (10) and screw (9).
NOTE
Follow-on maintenance: Install headlight (see WP 0175 00).
