MARKER CONDITION-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts ametal surface a direct short may result ininstant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.DLoosen six screws (6) and remove cover (7) andlamp. Place red lead of multimeter in socket andblack lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on,UNLOCK and move main lighting switch to B.O.MARKER position, and check for voltage. TurnMASTER and main lighting switches OFF. If voltageis present, replace lamp (see paragraph 6-30). Ifvoltage is not present, go to step E.ERemove two screws (8), two lockwashers (9), andhydraulic access plate (10). Disconnect wire 24 ofbulkhead to master relay and left and right taillightwiring harness from taillight. Place red lead ofmultimeter in wire 24 and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, UNLOCK and move mainlighting switch to B.O. MARKER position, and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER and main lightingswitches OFF. If voltage is present, replace lamp(see paragraph 6-26). If voltage is not present, go tostep F.2—308
