Remove brake band assembly (6).
Disassembly
Remove 20 rivets (7) and brake lining (8) from brake band (9). Discard rivets.

Cleaning
WARNING
Solvents can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing. To avoid
injury or death, keep away from open fire and use in a well-ventilated area. If solvent gets on skin or
clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

Clean brake band and brake drum surfaces with cleaning compound or paint thinner.
