HOIST WINCH CABLEWARNINGCable can become frayed or contain broken wires. Wearheavy leather--palmed work gloves when handling cable.Frayed or broken wires can injure hands. Never let movingcable slide through hands, even when wearing gloves (item16, Table 2, WP 0128 00). A broken wire could cut throughglove and cut hand.CAUTIONKeep tension on cable during payout and inhaul operations.Failure to do so may result in equipment damage.DAILY -- If winch has been used, unwind used portion of cable andclean. Lubricate with OE/HDO. Rewind cable on drum.2. HOIST WINCH OIL LEVEL CHECKPark vehicle on level surface. Open subfloor access door (WP0036 00).NOTEOil level must be checked while oil is cold, failure to checkwhile oil is cold will result in an incorrect oil level reading.Verify oil level is between the middle and top of the sight gauge.NOTEDo not fill above top of sight gauge, as correct oil level can-not be determined.If oil is below the middle of the sight gauge, remove the vent/fill plugand add proper grade oil (WP 0101 00--65) until the oil level is be-tween the middle and top of the sight gauge.Clean vent/fill plug withP--D--680 , Item 11, WP 0130 00 and install.VENT/FILL PLUGSIGHT GAUGEHOIST WINCH DRAINPLUG IS LOCATED INWINCH DRUMHOIST WINCHCABLESUBFLOORACCESS DOOR
