WARNING
The hoist cable cutter contains an explosive cartridge. Use extreme caution when
handling to prevent injury to personnel. Spark or static producing clothing is
prohibited. Anytime cable cutter harness is disconnected, install shorting device
or piece of aluminum foil between cartridge pins and install shipping cap to
prevent accidental firing.
CAUTION
During performance checks, continually observe OVER TEMP indicator to
ensure that the light DOES NOT illuminate.
ASSEMBLY STAND
1. Install hoist on assembly stand in accordance with WP 0010 00.
2. Connect ground power unit and apply electrical power (28 vdc) to hoist.
NOTE
Blue POWER ON light will illuminate and blower fan will begin to operate.
3. Perform operating procedures in accordance with WP 0005 00.
