TM 9-2350-238-34-2 2-30. MAINTENANCE OF VEHICLE TOW DRUM WINCH (CONT). DISASSEMBLY (CONT) 31 32 33 34 35 Remove preformed packing (52) and car- rier housing thrust washer-bearing (53) from stage four carrier assembly (51). Remove 11 socket head capscrews (54) from winch brake housing (55) on brake control end of planetary winch drum (4). Install four jacking screws (56) in winch brake housing (55). Tighten until winch brake housing (55) is free. Remove four jacking screws (56). Remove winch brake housing (55) from brake control end of planetary winch drum (4). Remove self-aligning roller bearing (57) from winch brake housing (55). 2-120
