SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.C Disconnect switch panel to neutral safety to bulkheadwiring harness from main switch panel. Place red lead ofmultimeter in socket A, of wire 14 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, push START switch,and check for voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. Ifvoltage is not present, replace/repair wire 14 of circuitbreaker-to-main switch panel wiring harness. If voltage ispresent, go to step D.D Reconnect switch panel to neutral safety to bulkheadwiring harness to main switch panel. Disconnect wire 14at Y-connector on switch panel side. Place red lead ofmultimeter in wire 14 and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, push START switch, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, go to step E. If voltage is not present,replace/repair wire 14 of switch panel to neutral safety tobulkhead wiring harness (see paragraph 6-54).E Reconnect wire 14 to Y-connector on switch panel side.Disconnect wire 14 from bulkhead side of neutral safetyswitch. Place red lead of multimeter in male connectorof neutral safety switch and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, push START switch and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, go to step F. If voltage is not present, ensurebolt (1) is making contact with neutral safety switch. If nocontact is present adjust neutral safety switch (seeparagraph 6-14). If contact is present replace neutralsafety switch (see paragraph 6-14).2-67
