TM 9-2350-256-20CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS2-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedELECTRIC IN-TANK FUEL PUMP-ContinuedRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.A Remove four screws (1), four lockwashers (2), fourflat washers (3), and fuel transmitter center leftfloor access plate (4). Remove fuse housing andinspect fuse. If fuse is unserviceable, replace fuse(see paragraph 4-3). If fuse is serviceable andelectric in-tank pump still fails to operate, go tostep B.B Disconnect switch panel to neutral safety tobulkhead wiring harness connector from fuel pump.Place red lead of multimeter in wire 76 of connectorand black lead to ground. Turn MASTER and FUELPUMP switches ON and check for voltage. TurnMASTER and FUEL PUMP switches OFF.I fvoltage is present, go to step C. If voltage is notpresent, go to step D.2 - 9 0Change 1
