CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS TM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedTRANSMISSION OIL PRESSURE GAGE-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.ARemove three screws (1), three lockwashers (2), twoscrews (3), two lockwashers (4), ground strap (5), andrelease gage panel (6). Remove gage panel tobulkhead wiring harness from gage panel. Place redlead of multimeter in socket K of wire 27 and blacklead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, go to step B. If voltage is not present, go tostep H.BReconnect gage panel to bulkhead wiring harness togage panel. Disconnect wire 27E from transmissionoil pressure gage. Place red lead of multimeter onwire 27E and black lead to ground. Turn MASTERswitch on and check for voltage. Turn MASTERswitch OFF. If voltage is present, go to step C. Ifvoltage is not present, repair/replace wire 27E of gagepanel wiring harness (see paragraph 6-44).2-120
