SECTION V: Troubleshooting TM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metal surfacea direct short may result in instant heating of tools,damage to equipment, and injury or death topersonnel.EReconnect wire 324 to transmission oil temperaturegage and gage panel to bulkhead wiring harness togage panel. Install ground strap (5), twolockwashers (4), two screws (3), gage panel (6), threelockwashers (2), and three screws (1) to mountingbrackets. Open air inlet doors (TM 9-2350- 256-10).Disconnect bulkhead to engine bracket and rear fueltank transmitterwiring harness from bulkheaddisconnect. Place red lead of multimeter in socket Jof wire 324 and black lead to ground. Turn MASTERswitch on and check for voltage. Turn MASTERswitch OFF. If voltage is present, go to step F. Ifvoltage is not present, repair/replace wire 324 of gagepanel to bulkhead wiring harness (see paragraph 6-45for dual voltage; 6-46 for single voltage).FReconnect bulkhead to engine bracket and rear fueltank wiring harness to bulkhead. Remove enginedeck (see paragraph 9-51). Disconnect bulkhead toengine bracket and rear fuel tank wiring harness fromengine disconnect. Place red lead of multimeter insocket E of wire 324 and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go to stepG. If voltage is not present, repair/replace wire 324 ofbulkhead to engine bracket and rear fuel tank wiringharness (see paragraph 6-73 for dual voltage; 6-74 forsingle voltage).2-117
