SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metal surfacea direct short may result in instant heating oftools, damage to equipment, and injury or deathto personnel.GReconnect gage panel to bulkhead wiring harness topower control lever switch. Open air inlet doors (TM9-2350-256-10). Disconnect bulkhead to enginebracket and rear fuel tank transmitter wiring harnessfrom bulkhead disconnect. Place red lead ofmultimeter in socket D of wire 627 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, place POWERlever in the ON position, and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go to stepH. If voltage is not present, repair/replace gage panelto bulkhead wiring harness (see paragraph 6-45 fordual voltage; 6-46 for single voltage).H Reconnect gage panel to bulkhead wiring harness tobulkhead disconnect. Remove engine deck (seeparagraph 9-51). Disconnect bulkhead to enginebracket and rear fuel tank transmitter wiring harnessfrom engine disconnect. Place red lead of multimeterin socket K of wire 627 and black lead to ground.Turn MASTER switch on, place POWER lever in theON position, and check for voltage. Turn MASTERswitch OFF. If voltage is present, go to step I. Ifvoltage is not present, repair/replace wire 627 ofbulkhead to engine bracket and rear fuel tanktransmitter wiring harness (see paragraph 6-73 fordual voltage; 6-74 for single voltage).I Reconnect bulkhead to engine bracket and rear fueltank transmitter wiring harness to engine disconnect.Disconnect wire 627 from governor solenoid. Placered lead of multimeter on wire 627 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, place POWERlever in the ON position, and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch and POWER lever OFF. If voltageis present, notify Direct Support Maintenance. Ifvoltage is not present, repair/replace wire 627 ofengine wiring harness (see paragraph 6-58 for dualvoltage; 6-59 for single voltage).2-113
