Disconnect wire 324 from transmission oiltemperature gage. Turn MASTER switch on andcheck transmission oil temperature gage foroperation. Transmission oil temperature gage shouldread "O." Ground case of transmission oil temperaturegage and check gage for operation. Gage shouldread full scale. Turn MASTER switch OFF. Iftransmission oil temperature gage reads correctly, goto step D. If transmission oil temperature gage failsto read correctly, replace transmission oil temperaturegage (see paragraph 6-8).DDisconnect gage panel to bulkhead wiring harnessfrom gage panel. Check wire 324 in gage panelharness for continuity by placing red lead ofmultimeter on wire 324 and black lead on pin B ofwire 324. If continuity is present, go to step E. Ifcontinuity is not present, repair/replace wire 324 ofgage panel wiring harness (see paragraph 6-44).2-116
