CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS TM 9-2350-256-202-19ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedPOWER CONTROL LEVER SWITCH--ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.EReconnect switch panel to gage panel andmiscellaneous switches wiring harness from switchpanel. Install main switch panel (5), flat washer (4),ground lead (3), three lockwashers (2) and threescrews (1). Disconnect wire 627 of switch panel togage panel and miscellaneous switches wiring harnessfrom switch panel side of power control lever switch.Place red lead of multimeter in wire 627 and black leadto ground. Turn MASTER switch on and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, go to step F. If voltage is not present,repair/replace wire 627 of switch panel to gage paneland miscellaneous switches wiring harness (seeparagraph 6-55 for dual voltage; 6-56 for singlevoltage).FReconnect wire 627 of switch panel to gage panel andmiscellaneous switches wiring harness to switch panelside of power control switch. Disconnect wire 627 ofgage panel to bulkhead wiring harness from powercontrol lever switch. Place red lead of multimeter onterminal of power control lever switch and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, place POWER leverin the ON position, and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go to stepG. If voltage is not present, replace power controllever switch (see paragraph 6-17).2-112
