CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSTM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedAPU GENERATOR SYSTEM (SINGLE VOLTAGE)-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contactsa metal surface a direct short may resultin instant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.U Reconnect wire J to hydraulic pressure switch.Disconnect wire J of bulkhead to engine wiringharness and starter relay wiring harness frombulkhead to APU, master relay, and rigger's lightswiring harness. Place red lead of multimeter on maleconnector of wire J and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER and APU GEN switches ON and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER and APU GEN switches OFF.If voltage is present, repair/replace wire J of bulkheadto APU, master relay, and rigger's lights wiringharness (see paragraph 6-76). If voltage is notpresent, repair/replace wire J of bulkhead to enginewiring harness and starter relay wiring harness tobulkhead disconnect (see paragraph 6-72).V Reconnect wire J to hydraulic pressure switch.Disconnect wire H from hydraulic pressure switch.Place red lead of multimeter on wire H and black leadto ground. Turn MASTER and APU GEN switchesON and check for voltage. If voltage is present, go to.step W. If voltage is not present, replace hydraulicpressure switch (see paragraph 13-1).W Reconnect wire H to hydraulic pressure switch.Disconnect bulkhead to APU, master relay, andrigger's lights wiring harness from APU enginedisconnect. Place red lead of multimeter in socket Fof wire 61 and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER,APU pressure, and APU GEN switches ON and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER, APU pressure, and APUGEN switches OFF. If voltage is present, notify DirectSupport Maintenance. If voltage is not present,repair/replace wire 61 of bulkhead to APU, masterrelay, and rigger's lights wiring harness (seeparagraph 6-76).2-156
