CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSTM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedAPU GENERATOR SYSTEM (SINGLE VOLTAGE)--ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contactsa metal surface a direct short may resultin instant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.L Remove four nuts (1), four lockwashers (2), four screws(3), and APU control box (4) from mounting brackets.Place a jumper from pin H to socket H. Place red leadof multimeter on pin L of wire J and black lead toground. Turn MASTER and APU GEN switches on andcheck for voltage. Turn MASTER and APU GENswitches OFF. If voltage is present, go to step 0. Ifvoltage is not present, go to step P.M Reconnect APU control box to foot dimmer switch andbulkhead wiring harness to APU control box. Removefour screws (5), four lockwashers (6), and rear panel (7)from APU control box (4). Disconnect wire C of APUcontrol box wiring harness from APU GEN switch.Place red lead of multimeter in wire C and black lead toground. Turn MASTER and APU GEN switches on andcheck for voltage. If voltage is present, go to step N. Ifvoltage is not present, repair/replace wire C of APUcontrol box wiring harness (see paragraph 13-7).2-152
