CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSTM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING--ContinuedAPU GENERATOR SYSTEM (SINGLE VOLTAGE)-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.G Reconnect engine generator relays to voltage regulatorwiring harness to switching box relay. Disconnectbulkhead to APU, master relay, and rigger's lights wiringharness at switching box relay. Place red lead ofmultimeter in socket C of wire 61. Turn MASTER andAPU GEN switches ON, start APU, and check forvoltage. Turn APU and MASTER and APU GENswitches OFF. If voltage is not present, replaceswitching relay box (see paragraph 6-13). If voltage ispresent, go to step H.H Place red lead on pin B of wire 478A. Turn MASTERand APU GEN switches ON, start APU, and check forvoltage. Turn APU and MASTER and APU GENswitches OFF. If voltage is not present, replaceswitching relay box (see paragraph 6-13). If voltage ispresent, go to step I.I Reconnect bulkhead to APU, master relay, and rigger'slights wiring harness to switching box relay. Open frontgrille doors (TM 9-2350-256-10). Disconnect bulkheadto APU, master relay, and rigger's lights wiring harnessfrom APU engine disconnect. Place red lead ofmultimeter on pin H of wire 478A. Turn MASTER andAPU GEN switches ON and check for voltage. TurnMASTER and APU GEN switches OFF. If voltage is notpresent, repair/replace wire 478A of bulkhead to APU,master relay, and rigger's lights wiring harness (seeparagraph 6-76). If voltage is present, go to step J.2-150
