CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSTM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedAPU FUEL SOLENOID SYSTEM-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts ametal surface a direct short may result ininstant heatingof tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.FReconnect wire 419 to circuit breaker. Disconnectwire 419 from APU FUEL SHUTOFF switch side of 15 Acircuit breaker. Place red lead of multimeter on terminal ofcircuit breaker and black lead to ground. Turn MASTERswitch on and check for voltage. Turn MASTER switchOFF. If voltage is present, go to step G. If voltage is notpresent, replace 15 A circuit breaker (see paragraph 13-7).GReconnect wire 419 to APU fuel shutoff switch sideof 15 A circuit breaker. Disconnect wire 419 from circuitbreaker side of APU FUEL SHUTOFF switch. Place redlead of multimeter in wire 419 and black lead to ground.Turn MASTER switch on and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go to step H.If voltage is not present, repair/replace wire 419 of APUfuel shutoff switch lead assembly from circuit breaker toshutoff switch (see paragraph 13-7).HReconnect wire 419 to circuit breaker side of APUFUEL SHUTOFF switch. Disconnect wire 421 from APUFUEL SHUTOFF switch. Place red lead of multimeter onterminal of APU FUEL SHUTOFF switch and black lead toground. Turn MASTER and APU FUEL SHUTOFFswitches ON and check for voltage. Turn MASTER andAPU FUEL SHUTOFF switches OFF. If voltage is present,repair/replace wire 421 of APU control box wiring harness(seeparagraph 13-7). If voltage is not present, replace APUFUEL SHUTOFF switch (see paragraph 13-7).2-172
