Place red leadof multimeter on terminal of light and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on and check for voltage.Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go tostep L. If voltage is not present, replace MECHTRANSMISSION OIL PRESSURE light (see paragraph6-8).L Reconnect connector to MECH TRANSMISSION OILPRESSURE light. Disconnect gage panel to bulkheadwiring harness from gage panel. Place a jumper wirefrom pin K to socket K. Place red lead of multimeter onpin L of wire 72A and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go to step M.If voltage is not present, repair/replace wire 72A of gagepanel wiring harness (see paragraph 6-44).M Reconnect gage panel to bulkhead wiring harness to gagepanel. Disconnect gage panel to bulkhead wiring harnessfrom mechanical transmission low oil pressure switch.Place red lead of multimeter in wire 72A and black leadto ground. Turn MASTER switch on, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, replace mechanical transmission low oilpressure switch (see paragraph 6-18). If light continuesto remain lit, with the mechanical transmission operating, the mechanical transmission has low oil pressure. Ifvoltage is not present, repair/replace wire 72A of gagepanel to bulkhead wiring harness (see paragraph 6-45 fordual voltage; 6-46 for single voltage).2-203
