SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contactsa metal surface a direct short may resultin instant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.GReconnect switch panel to gage panel andmiscellaneous switches wiring harness to mainswitch panel. Disconnect main lighting andmaster relay wiring harness from main lightingswitch. Place a jumper wire from pin F to socketF. Place red multimeter lead on pin B of wire 40and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER switchon and check for voltage. Turn MASTER switchOFF. If voltage is present, go to step H. Ifvoltage is not present, go to step I.HReconnect main lighting and master relay wiringharness to main lighting switch. Disconnect wire40 from main lighting and master relay wiringharness connector in switch panel. Place red leadof multimeter on male connector of wire 40 andblack lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch onand check for voltage. Turn MASTER switchOFF. If voltage is present, repair/replace wire 40of main lighting and B.O. selector switch wiringharness (see paragraph 6-69). If no voltage ispresent, repair/replace wire 40 of main lightingand master relay wiring harness (see paragraph 6-70).IPlace red lead of multimeter in socket F of wire10/15 and black lead to ground. Turn MASTERswitch on and check for voltage. Turn MASTERswitch OFF. If voltage is present repair mainlighting switch (see paragraph 6-10). If no voltageis present, go to step J.2-271
