SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.H Reconnect main lighting and master relay wiringharness to main lighting switch. Disconnect wire75 of main lighting and B.O. selector switchwiring harness at connector. Place red lead ofmultimeter in female connector of wire 75 andblack lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on,UNLOCK and place main lighting switch in SER.DRIVE, depress stoplight switch, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER, stoplight, and mainlighting switches OFF. If voltage is present,repair/replace wire 75 of main lighting and B.O.selector switch wiring harness (see paragraph 6-69). If voltage is not present, repair/replace wire75 of main lighting and master relay wiringharness (see paragraph 6-70).I Install main switch panel (11), flat washer (10),ground lead (9), three lockwashers (8), and threescrews (7). Reconnect switch panel to gage paneland miscellaneous switches wiring harness tomain switch panel. Disconnect wire 75/16 atstoplight switch. Place red lead of multimeter inwire 75/16 and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, UNLOCK and place mainlighting switch in SER. DRIVE position, and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER and main lightingswitches OFF. If voltage is present, go to step J.If voltage is not present, repair/replace wire 75/16of switch panel to gage panel and miscellaneousswitches wiring harness (see paragraph 6-55 fordual voltage; 6-56 for single voltage).2-287
