Disconnect engine wiringharness connector from control module. Place redlead of multimeter in socket A of wire K and blacklead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltageis present, go to step B. If voltage is not present, goto step E.B Place red lead of multimeter in socket B and blacklead to ground. If continuity is present, go to step C.If continuity is not present, repair/replace GNDwire of engine wiring harness (see paragraph 6-58for dual voltage; 6-59 for single voltage).C Reconnect engine wiring harness connector to controlmodule. Disconnect fuel/water separator controlmodule to solenoid drain valve wiring harness fromcontrol module. Place red lead of multimeter on pinA of control module and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on and check for voltage. TurnMASTER switch OFF. If voltage is present, go tostep D. If voltage is not present, replace fuel/waterseparator control module (see paragraph 4-17).2-361
