Refer to paragraphs 8-3 and 8-4 for detailed removal and installation instructions. 5 Shock WARNING Absorbers Be careful when feeling shock absorbers. They can heat up enough to cause burns. NOTE Prior to performing this check, the vehicle must be operated for 5-10 minutes. S a. Attempt to move shock absorbers from side to side. If movement is present, shock absorber bearing or pin is defective. Refer to paragraph 8-12 for removal and installation. 2-11
