TM 9-2350-256-34-2CHAPTER 4FINAL INSPECTION4-1.GeneralA final inspection will be performed on all items repaired or replaced, to determine whether all necessary work has beenaccomplished and to determine whether repairs have been performed satisfactorily. This inspection involves visualchecks, checks with test instruments, operational checks, safety checks, or any combination thereof necessary to insurethat the equipment has been restored to a completely serviceable condition for return to the user or to stock.4-2.Specific ProceduresSpecific checks to be performed on items repaired or replaced are contained, where necessary, in the component repairor installation instructions.4-3.Load Test Requirementa.Load testing of main winch, hoist winch and boom is mandatory prior to use under any of the followingconditions:(1) When new.(2) Following any repair, disassembly and assembly, adjustments or parts replacement of hoist winch boom.(3) When modifications are made that could affect the strength or lifting capabilities of the vehicle.b.Load testing will be accomplished by support maintenance activities.c.Refer to Chapter 2, Section V for detailed step-by-step procedures.CHANGE 4 4-1/(4-2 blank)
