Jewelry can catch on equip-ment and cause injury, or may shortacross an electrical circuit and causesevere burns or electrical shock.NOTEThe high air temperature switch isnormally open and set to close ontemperature rise of 446_F +18_.If oil temperature rises above 200_Fthe APU engine oil and oil filter mustbe replaced (WP 0597 00).Does sump fan run?NOTERemove sealant from electrical terminals toensure good contact for multimeter leads.Apply adhesive to all exposed terminals aftertroubleshooting is complete.1. Disconnect harness 3W730 lead 233A andground wire from sump fan thermostatic switch.2. Place a jumper wire between harness 3W730lead 233A and ground wire.3. Turn MASTER switch ON (TM 9--2350--292--10).4. Turn FUEL SHUTOFF switch ON(TM 9--2350--292--10).5. Observe sump fan.6. Turn FUEL SHUTOFF and MASTER switchesOFF.Replace sump fanthermostatic switch(WP 0660 00). Verifyfault is corrected.
