Perform Removal steps 3 and 4 and Installation step 3 for maintenance of lower wire rope assembly. Removal 1. Remove cotter pin (1), nut (2), flat washer (3) and stayline cable (4) from shaft (5). Discard cotter pin. 2. Remove self--locking nut (6), nut (7), flat washer (3) and stayline cable (8) from shaft (5). Discard self--locking nut. 3. Remove two screws (9) and two nuts (10) securing stayline cable (11) to boom levers (12). 4. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required. Figure 283 10 12 9 11 1 2 3 4 5 7 8 6 3
