DRIVE CONDITION--ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts ametal surface a direct short may result ininstant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.ALoosen four screws (1) and remove cover (2) of lefthand headlight assembly. Remove lamp and placered lead of multimeter in socket and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, UNLOCK andplace main lighting switch in B.O. DRIVE position,B.O. SELECTOR switch to B.O. position, and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER and B.O. SELECTORswitches OFF. If voltage is present, replace bulb(see paragraph 9-26). If voltage is not present, go tostep B.BDisconnect headlight base assembly from left handheadlight assembly. Place red lead of multimeter insocket G of wire 19 and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, UNLOCK and move mainlighting switch to B.O. DRIVE position, B.O.SELECTOR switch to B.O. position, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER, main lighting, and B.O.SELECTOR switches OFF. If voltage is present,replace headlight assembly (see paragraph 6-26). Ifvoltage is not present, go to step C.2—314
