DRIVE CONDITION--ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dogtags, bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts ametal surface a direct short may result ininstant heating of tools, damage toequipment, and injury or death topersonnel.JReconnect main lighting and master relay wiringharness to main lighting switch. Disconnect switchpanel to gage panel and miscellaneous switcheswiring harness from main switch panel. Place redlead of multimeter on pin N of wire 10 and black leadto ground. Turn MASTER switch on and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. If voltage ispresent, repair/replace wire 10 of main lighting andB.O. selector switch wiring harness (see paragraph6-69). If voltage is not present, go to step K.KReconnect switch panel to gage panel andmiscellaneous switches wiring harness to mainswitch panel. Open air inlet doors (TM 9-2350-256-10). Disconnect wire 48 pin A from bulkhead tomaster relay wiring harness. Place red multimeterlead in socket and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on and check for voltage. If voltageis present, repair/replace switch panel, radio, andbilge pump to bulkhead wiring harness (seeparagraph 6-53). If voltage is not present,troubleshoot master relay circuit (see paragraph 2-19, master relay fails to operate).2—318
