CHAPTER 2: VEHICLE MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSTM 9-2350-256-202-19 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING-ContinuedRIGGER'S LIGHTS AND FRONT SIGNAL LIGHT-ContinuedWARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.FReconnect wire 16 from rigger's SERVICE light switch.Remove three screws (4), three lockwashers (5),ground lead (6), and flat washer (7) and release mainswitch panel (8) from mounting brackets. Disconnectswitch panel to gage panel and miscellaneous switcheswiring harness from main switch panel. Place a jumperwire from pin N to socket N. Place red lead ofmultimeter in socket D of wire 75/16 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, main lighting switchto STOP LIGHT, and check for voltage. Turn MASTERand main lighting switches OFF. If voltage is present,repair/replace wire 16/75 of switch panel to gage paneland miscellaneous switches wiring harness (seeparagraph 6-55 for dual voltage; 6-56 for single voltage.If voltage is not present, go to step G.GPlace red lead of multimeter on pin N of wire 10 andblack lead to ground. Turn MASTER switch on andcheck for voltage. Turn MASTER switch OFF. Ifvoltage is present, go to step H. If voltage is notpresent, reconnect switch panel to gage panel andmiscellaneous switches wiring harness to main switchpanel and go to step S.2-322
