SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.MDisconnect wire 325 from indicator light. Place red leadof multimeter in wire 325 and black lead to ground.Turn MASTER and FLASHER switches ON and checkfor voltage. Turn MASTER and FLASHER switchesOFF. If voltage is present, replace indictor lamp (seeparagraph 6-11). If voltage is not present, go to step N.NDisconnect turn signal flasher wiring harness fromflasher unit. Place red lead of multimeter in socket B ofwire 325 and black lead to ground. Turn MASTER andFLASHER switches ON and check for voltage. TurnMASTER and FLASHER switches OFF. If voltage ispresent, replace flasher unit (see paragraph 6-11). Ifvoltage is not present, go to step O.OReconnect turn signal flasher wiring harness to flasherunit. Disconnect wire 325 from flasher side ofFLASHER switch. Place red lead of multimeter onterminal of switch and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER and FLASHER switches ON and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER and FLASHER switches OFF.If voltage is not present, go to step P. If voltage ispresent, repair/replace wire 325 of turn signal flasherwiring harness from FLASHER switch to the flasher (seeparagraph 6-67).2-325
