SECTION V: TROUBLESHOOTINGTM 9-2350-256-20WARNINGRemove all jewelry such as rings, dog tags,bracelets, etc. If jewelry contacts a metalsurface a direct short may result in instantheating of tools, damage to equipment, andinjury or death to personnel.CReconnect wire 17 to light. Disconnect wire 17 fromrigger's SERVICE switch. Place red lead of multimeteron switch terminal and black lead to ground. TurnMASTER switch on, UNLOCK and turn main lightingswitch to STOP LIGHT position, rigger's B.O.SELECTOR to SERVICE position, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER, main lighting, and rigger's B.O.SELECTOR switches OFF. If voltage is present, go tostep D. If voltage is not present, go to step E.DReconnect wire 17 to rigger's SERVICE switch. Openair inlet doors (TM 9-2350-256-10). Disconnectbulkhead to APU, master relay, and rigger's lights wiringharness from bulkhead disconnect. Place red lead ofmultimeter on pin K of wire 17 and black lead to ground.Turn MASTER switch on, UNLOCK and turn mainlighting switch to STOP LIGHT position, rigger's B.O.SELECTOR to SERVICE position, and check forvoltage. Turn MASTER, main lighting, and rigger's B.O.SELECTOR switches OFF. If voltage is not present,repair/replace wire 17 of APU control box to foot dimmerswitch and bulkhead wiring harness (see paragraph 6-79for dual voltage; 6-80 for single voltage) If voltage ispresent, repair/replace wire 17 of bulkhead to APU,master relay, and rigger's lights wiring harness (seeparagraph 6-75 for dual voltage; 6-76 for singlevoltage).EReconnect wire 17 to rigger's SERVICE switch.Disconnect wire 16 from rigger's SERVICE light switch.Place red lead of multimeter in wire 16 and black lead toground. Turn MASTER switch on, main lighting switchto STOP LIGHT, and check for voltage. Turn MASTERand main lighting switches OFF. If voltage is present,replace rigger's service lights switch (see paragraph 6-24). If voltage is not present, go to step F.2-321
