a. REMOVAL
CAUTION
Ground cables must be disconnected prior to disconnecting positive leads to prevent damage to batteries.
1 Pull back rubber insulator (3).

Remove lead (1) from battery terminal (4) (see
paragraph 6-4) by removing bolt (5) and nut (6).

Disconnect connector (2) from circuit breaker (7).
Remove lead assembly (8).
b. DISASSEMBLY
Disassemble lead assembly (8) (see Chapter 6,
Section VII).

Assemble lead assembly (8) (see Chapter 6, Section
