CHAPTER 9: MAINTENANCE OF HULL- AND CAB-RELATED COMPONENTSTM 9-2350-256-209-66 REPLACE/SERVICE RIGGER'S SEAT ASSEMBLY-ContinuedWARNINGRaise rigger's seat assembly (1) before removing seat body (7) in order to avoid injury.3 Remove seat body (7) from carriage assembly (8) by removing six nuts (9), six lockwashers (10), and sixscrews (11). Remove brackets (12) and plates (13 and 14).4 Remove pin (15), pin (16), collar (17), and spring (18).5 Remove handle (19) by removing cotter pin (20), flat washer (21), and pin (22).6 Remove base assembly (23) by removing four nuts (24), four lockwashers (25), and four screws (26).WARNINGEnsure that base assembly (23) is raised to full extension and adequately braced prior tospring removal. Failure to do so will result in base assembly collapsing.7 Pry two adjuster springs (27) from axle (28) to relieve tension. Remove two adjuster springs.8 Remove two springs (29) and spring retainer (30).9-120
