Park vehicle on a level surface withparking brake applied.b. Operate engine (WP 0012 00) towarm transmission oil to temperaturebetween 180to 200F (82to 93C). To reach desired transmission oiltemperature, it may be necessary toperform high range stall. To perform stall:depress and hold brake in appliedposition, place transmission in 3rd rangeand run engine at full throttle for nolonger than 30 seconds. Return enginespeed to idle. If required, repeatprocedure after 60 seconds of idling toattain the proper oil temperature.c. Shut down engine (WP 0019 00).Oil level below ADDmark.To verify that proper transmissionoil level is present, it is veryimportant that transmission oil levelis at correct temperature and thatcorrect amount of time, 3 to 5minutes, has passed beforereading oil gauge rod. Failure tocomply may result in an inaccurateoil level reading. If vehicle isoperated with transmission oil levelbelow ADD mark, reliability anddurability of transmission assemblymay be reduced.CAUTION
