Disconnect lead 27 from temperature gauge.2. Turn MASTER switch ON(TM 9--2350--292--10).3. Place multimeter red lead in lead 27 gaugeconnector socket and black lead to ground.Check for voltage.4. Turn MASTER switch OFF(TM 9--2350--292--10).Is continuity present?WARNINGRemove rings, bracelets, wristwatches,and neck chains before working on anyvehicle. Jewelry can catch on equip-ment and cause injury, or may shortacross an electrical circuit and causesevere burns or electrical shock.Go to Step C.Remove temperature gauge,clean gauge mounting surface,reinstall gauge (WP 0243 00).Verify fault is corrected. If faultstill exists, replace temperaturegauge (WP 0243 00). Verifyfault is corrected.Place one multimeter lead on temperature gaugeand the other to ground. Check for continuity.Go to Step D.
