General mechanic’s tool kit (item 1, WP 0717 00)
Materials/Parts
Antiseizing tape (item 22, WP 0716 00)
Equipment Conditions
Battery power disconnected (WP 0256 00)
APU cover removed (WP 0413 00)
APU engine oil filter removed (WP 0596 00)
NOTE
Perform Removal steps 1, 2 and 4 and Installation steps
4 through 7 for replacement of oil pressure transmitter.
Perform Removal steps 1 through 4 and Installation steps
1 through 7 for replacement of reducer.
Removal
1. Disconnect wiring harness 3W704 electrical lead 420 (1) from oil pressure transmitter (2).
2. Remove transmitter (2) from reducer (3).
NOTE
Perform the following step only if reducer is damaged or
becomes loose during removal of transmitter.
3. Remove reducer (3) from adapter plug (4) on oil filter adapter assembly (5).
4. Inspect parts for damage and replace as required.
