Removal--Continued
2. Remove self--locking nut (6), flat washer (7) and wire (8) from terminal D of generator (5). Discard self--locking
nut.
3. Remove self--locking nut (9), flat washer (10) and wire (11) from terminal A of generator (5). Discard self--locking
nut.
4. Remove self--locking nut (12), flat washer (13) and wires (14 and 15) from terminal B of generator (5). Discard
self--locking nut.

WARNING
To avoid personnel injury or death, use extreme caution
and observe safety precautions when working under-
neath the APU.
CAUTION
To avoid APU damage with support assembly removed, a
suitable holding device is necessary to ensure APU
weight does not rest on either generator or hydraulic
pump. APU must be raised high enough to permit access
to underside.
Generator weighs approximately 94 pounds. To prevent
damage to shaft and seals, generator must be supported
at all times when performing the following procedures.
