Removal--Continued
2. Remove nut (6) and lockwasher (7) from anode (stud end) of diode (5). Remove diode (5) from plate (link) (8).
Discard lockwasher.
NOTE
Perform the following steps only if necessary to replace
plate (link) connected to diode anode (stud end).
3. Remove nut (9), four lockwashers (10), two wires (11 and 12) and plate (link) (8) from relay terminal (13). Discard
lockwashers.
4. Inspect all parts for damage and replace as required.
Installation
1. Install two wires (11 and 12), plate (link) (8), four new lockwashers (10) and nut (9) on relay terminal (13).
2. Install anode (stud end) of diode (5) in plate (link) (8) with new lockwasher (7) and nut (6).
3. Connect wire (3) to cathode (terminal end) of diode (5) with screw (4), new lockwasher (2) and nut (1).
4. Apply adhesive to all exposed electrical terminals.

Install APU cover (WP 0413 00)
Connect battery power (WP 0256 00)
